Genealogy Resources

Our Genealogy/Local History Section is full of valuable reference material, including City Directories going back to the late 1800s, Natchez school yearbooks, cemetery records, Jersey settlers information, census information, books on local and state history, Journal of Mississippi History, Roster of of Confederate Soldiers, and DAR indexes.

One of our most popular resources are our Vertical Files, where we have collected newspaper and magazine articles and filed them according to subject matter.
