A free public library service is available to Mississippi residents unable to read conventional print due to a visual or physical disability. This service is a national program that is provided through the Mississippi Library Commission. The service includes digital, audio, braille, large print, and descriptive video formats of a large variety of items. They also offer free magazine subscriptions, and adaptive cassette players are loaned at no charge. Everything arrives by mail and is returned in postage free mail.
