The Periodical Room is a favorite for many of our patrons. It's quiet and comfortable. You can just get comfy and read your favorite newspapers and magazines.

Newspapers:
Natchez Democrat is available at all three libraries. We keep all back issues at the Armstrong Library until they become available on microfilm.
Woodville Republican is available at the branch libraries, and all back issues are kept in Woodville until available on microfilm.
Wilk Amite Record is available at all libraries and is donated by the publisher. Back issues are not maintained.
The other newspapers are available only at the Armstrong Library and back issues are kept for two months.
Clarion Ledger
New York Times
USA Today
Wall Street Journal
Bluff City Post
NOTE: We used to subscribe to the Baton Rouge Advocate, but they no longer deliver in Natchez.

Magazines:
All magazines are kept for two years. The current issue is displayed, and the back issues are stores underneath. Those with asterisks are in all three libraries, and the rest are available only in the Armstrong Library.
